Alternative Folder System App Mac 2017
Mar 17, 2016 The reason is that I wanted to locate Network Utility. I could find it via a Spotlight Search but could not figure out where it was on my Mac. I knew it was in System/Library/Core Services but needed to find System folder. The key was to do. In Finder: Preferences-Sidebar: check Hard Disks under Devices. Then I could locate the app I wanted. Thank you Apple, i have 946 Audio Books, all an a 3 TB external hard drive, just installed Catalina, all going well until my available disk space is 0, for the love of god i cannot find a way to get the books app to look at the hard drive where i store an extensive collection, i bought a mac mini which has a small hard drive in December last year, wish i now had not bothered i havent even. Wizard can import Microsoft Access MDB files along with DBF, Excel XLS/XLSX, Apple Numbers, RData/RDS, JSON, SQLite and text files.
Yosemity:
(extra: In Finder: choose your Home Folder, choose GO menu, hold the Alt(option) key, then you see Library in the list).
In Finder: Preferences->Sidebar: check Hard Disks under Devices. Then in Finder click your startupdisk in the sidebar, the System folder is visible: there is just one Folder in there called Library (not the same as the Library in the HomeFolder).
